Lplater

Privacy policy

The short version: Lplater does not collect your data. There is no account, no tracking and no advertising.

Effective 29 October 2026. Applies to the Lplater iOS app and lplater.app.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you.

Lplater has no sign-up and no login. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers or usage analytics. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking software.

What stays on your device

Your chosen region, practice history, mock test results and settings are stored only on your phone, in the app's own storage. Deleting the app deletes them. "Reset progress" in Settings clears them while keeping the app. We cannot see this data.

Purchases

The one-off unlock is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and holds your payment details; we never receive them. The app asks Apple whether this Apple ID owns the unlock so it can restore it on a new device. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.

The website

lplater.app is a static site. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request in line with Google's privacy policy. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page) for security, which are not used to identify visitors.

Email

If you email support@lplater.app we keep the thread for as long as needed to help you, then delete it. We do not add you to any list.

Children

Lplater is for people preparing for a learner licence, generally 16 and over. Because we collect no personal data, nothing is gathered from anyone of any age.

Your rights and the law

Lplater is operated by Vane Labs (ABN 87 457 098 433), Australia, under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and, for New Zealand users, the Privacy Act 2020. Since we hold no personal information about you there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side, but you are welcome to ask: support@lplater.app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. If we ever start collecting anything, the app will ask first.
